Malam penganugerahan piala Oscar baru saja usai digelar di Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, AS, Minggu (27/3) waktu setempat. Film “Dune” yang dibintangi oleh Timothée Chalamet dan Zendaya berhasil meraih 6 penghargaan, yaitu Best Film Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, Best Sound, Best Production Design, dan Best Visual Effects.
 
Dune Berjaya dengan membawa pulang enam piala Oscar, tetapi film "CODA" yang memenangkan penghargaan Best Picture atau Film Terbaik di ajang Academy Awards 2022 ini. "CODA," yang mengangkat kisah seorang anak dari keluarga tuli, juga meraih dua penghargaan lainnya yaitu Best Supporting Actor atau Aktor Pendukung Terbaik untuk Troy Kotsur dan Best Adapted Screenplay atau Adaptasi Naskah Terbaik.
